The International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists (ISSCT)

June 26, 2013
The International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists (ISSCT) held their 28th Sugar Congress in Sao Paulo, Brazil on June 26-29, 2013. This international exhibit is held every three years and gathers more than 150 national and foreign companies, services, and equipment suppliers for the production of sugar, ethanol, and bioenergy. Founded in 1924, ISSCT is the world's largest representative society in the sugar cane industry, assembling more than 70 countries that produce sugar cane and its products. Gwen and Todd Brittain of IMC attended and were joined by Jose Aguero, Laura Fernandez, and Suhellen Policarpo of Agricultura Científica S.A. “I learned a great deal about the sugar cane farming industry and met delegates who own IMC scrapers.” Gwen said. “I really enjoyed meeting them face-to-face and hearing the stories of how our scrapers are being utilized in their farming operations. I am proud to play a part in helping them achieve their goals of optimizing their crop production.”
